About pregnancy yoga

Pregnancy yoga is an amazing way to prepare the body and mind for labour and birth. With the use of specialised breathing techniques and yoga poses, mums-to-be are able to stay active in a safe environment while gaining knowledge on how yoga can be used throughout pregnancy and birth to help calm the mind and strengthen the body for labour. Suitable from 12 weeks of pregnancy.

About Mums & babies postnatal yoga

Mums & babies post natal yoga is specifically designed for mums to get back into their bodies after birth, while being able to spend quality time with babies in an open and safe environment. Post natal yoga aids in the knitting back together of the inner core, firming up the pelvic floor and releasing some of the tension in the body built up during pregnancy and after birth. Babies are included in the practice and time is dedicated to activities aiding in their early development. Suitable from 6 weeks after birth, with your doctor's consent.

This class is specifically for Mums with older babies who would like to focus a bit more on themselves and their yoga practice but still have a safe space and environment where babies and toddlers are welcome This class is an amazing stepping stone from Mums & Babies Yoga to bringing you closer to your own regular and established yoga practice. Classes are Vinyasa Flow in nature and beginners are welcome.

Begin to move towards a more regular yoga practice

Older babies may like to participate in the class themselves learning vital co-ordination and listening skills

A suggested age for babies is from 12 months onwards, but this will depend on the child and will be assessed at your first class
